In this charming region, so rich in history and tradition, the west wing of an old house has recently been restored and transformed into four lovely apartments, specially intended for those travellers who tend to avoid the mass tourism circuits. Each of them is furnished and decorated according to tradition, although keeping its country style charm, and they all have that kind of modern comfort on which we seem to be so dependent nowadays. In the heart of the historic centre, wooden beamed ceilings, terracotta floors, marble fireplaces and a stunning view over the beautiful tuscan countryside will make your holiday an unforgettable moment of your life. Drawing its name from that of its main, steep street which from Piazza dell'Erbe goes up to San Francesco, the contrada (quarter) is characterized by its position perched on top of a cliff. The view offered from the Square of San Francesco is superb. In another attractive little square, the baroque Church of Santa Lucia holds a precious painting by Luca Signorelli. The apartments are equipped with a fireplace, independent heating, washer, dishwasher (except apt. C), television and iron. Prices are indicated for maximun of people, it is possibile to ask better price (apt. nr. 5 and nr. 8) if used for only 2/3 people.
